XXVII CIPS Congress - Palermo ( Sicily , Italy ) 12 - 15 May 2005
Dear Sirs,
On 6 November 2004 we sent you a convocation from the President of the International Angling Confederation (CIPS), containing an invitation to attend the XXVII Congress, due to take place in Palermo (Sicily, Italy), from 12 to 15 May 2005.
As per the attached programme, the meeting of the Praesidium is scheduled for Thursday 12 May at 9.30 a .m.
The arrival and accreditation of delegates is from 9.30 to 12.30 on Thursday.
The Congress opening will take place on the same day at 2.30 p.m., and will be followed by a session devoted to the environment and the protection of fish species. During the session the promotion of fishing among youngsters will also be discussed. At around 5 p.m. the Portuguese Federation will present the 2006 Angling World Championships.
All countries are entitled to participate in the Congress with one delegate per international Federation of which they are members.
Each Federation must communicate the names of delegates to the CIPS secretary general 30 days before the congress.
To exercise voting rights delegates must possess a proxy from their Federations.
