Dear Mr President,
In February we sent you a text containing changes to the CIPS Statutes, to be submitted to the Prague assembly, taking place from 10 to 13 May 2007, for its approval.
For greater clarity, please find enclosed the full version of the Statutes, which completes and replaces the previous version, with the inclusion of the changes to be made.
In the most recent version, at the request of the Statutes Commission, the definitions of MEMBER and of FEDERATION are still to be finalised. At the suggestion of the Commission Chairman, Mr Fortune Jaguelin, the following are proposed: "the term MEMBER refers to Federations or other National Organisations as from when they are officially recognised by the CIPS. The term FEDERATION refers to the FIPS".
Please do not hesitate to contact me, Mr President, for any further explanations.
My warmest wishes.
The President
Marcel Ordan
